We are not all equally endowed. We possess different skill sets and experience levels. These attributes arise from our disparate backgrounds, beliefs, assumptions and orientations. My objective for creating this platform therefore emanates from my own specific passion and my desire to share my modest endowments with those who care to participate. I hope that by so doing, I would probably make some positive impact on someone and perhaps make a contribution to the attainment of our common humanity.
By the way the reason why the social networking sites have made so much impact on our lives is simply because of the primordial instinct to share; share our perspectives, our plights and our plans. I am not necessarily eulogizing the positive influence of these networks; just stating the obvious. Like we all know however there is a ying for every yang.
Even though I am now resident in the United States, I grew up in Nigeria. All my working life, 32 years to be specific, was spent in the Nigerian banking industry from where I retired voluntarily in 2005. I intend to apply my education, knowledge, experience, skills and exposure to articulate and analyze issues on this and other relevant platforms with the highest level of ethical standard.
My thoughts and snippets will be underpinned but not limited to an area that I have ruminated so much about; the imperatives of change, which incidentally, has attracted a significant measure of attention in our socio political environment in recent times.
